The Old Newton Country Fayre and Dog Show takes place on Sunday 10th July at the Village Hall, and boasts a fun-filled day that celebrates the very best of our rural countryside community. Organised to raise valuable funds for the Old Newton Village Hall, a vital part of our community, the show has all the attractions of a traditional country fayre. Join in our dog show with pedigree and fun classes, over 30 classic cars on display from the Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts Club, agricultural machinery and Vintage Tractor drive through, the talented children from the local Black Ice Junior Baton Throwing Display Team, Owl display, Petting Zoo, £100 prize raffle, children’s themed fancy dress competition, tombola, tug-o-war, charity cricket match in aid of Camille Appeal, bouncy castle, face painting, games galore, numerous arts and craft stalls, BBQ and refreshments as well as live music from Inside Out. It’s free entry and parking as always, everyone welcome. Dog show starts at 10.30am, Pedigree and Fun classes for all.
