One of the highlights of the summer season in East Anglia is the International Miniprint exhibition in Gallery 2 at Wingfield Barns. The exhibition which has been running annually since 1995 in Wingfield is curated by Ian Chance who is currently course director for the MA Creative Entrepreneurship course at the University of East Anglia. There are over 650 prints from 50 countries worldwide. In Gallery 1 this year the Harleston & Waveney Art Trail Collective will be exhibiting ‘Little Gems – the affordable art show’ with a selection of small scale drawings, paintings, prints, mosaics and textiles. Both exhibitions are bound to delight visitors and collectors alike, providing an opportunity to buy original works of art at very affordable prices. The private view for the two exhibitions is open to the public from 6-8pm on Thursday 11 August in Gallery 2. There is free parking adjacent to the site next to Low Road and parking for Blue Badge holders on site next to the galleries. The galleries are open 11am-4pm Wednesdays to Sundays.
