What attractions will there be at the Rendlesham Show on Saturday 11th June? The answer is lots!
As well as all the entertainment taking place on the stage and in the arena, there will be lots of attractions; old favourites and some new ones too:
Classic Cars, Garden Show, Dog Show, Fun Fair, Fire Engine, Deben Community Farm, Suffolk Punch Trust, Mini Donkeys, Bouncy Castles, Climbing Wall, Dance Machine, Sweeper, Pony Rides, Stilt Walkers, Circus Skills, Balloon Modelling & Bubbles Fun, Rendlesham Community Radio, Bentwaters Cold War Museum, the Grand Draw, lots of lovely stalls where you can buy goodies or find out things and activities that you can have a go at from tombolas to tomahawk throwing and, at 5:30 p.m. the Tug of War…
… and, special for the 2022 show, we have four attractions to bring our Anglo-Saxon ‘Vicus Regius’ (Royal Residence) to life: National Trust Sutton Hoo, the Sutton Hoo Society, the Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company and the Rendlesham Revealed archaeology project. You can watch a plank being crafted for the Sutton Hoo Ship, learn about the Rendlesham Revealed project and chat with both experts and warriors!
So, make your way to Rendlesham. If you park in Rockford’s car park, you can get a free ride to the show in one of Tony Buckland’s historic buses! But, however you arrive, you’ll want to make sure you arrive in good time so you don’t miss any of the packed programme of events which opens with the Band of the Royal British Legion at 11:00 a.m. and concludes with The Lockerbillies’ great music from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. The refreshments include a BBQ and Bar; all our caterers are excellent and provide for all tastes + there’s plenty of seating so you can plan to come for the day. We look forward to welcoming you all!
To help plan your day, an e version of the programme with all the details of events, attractions, parking etc will be on the Parish website by 1st June www.rendleshampc.org.uk
The show’s free to enter and parking is free too. There’s disabled only parking available at Jubilee Park, other local car parks are a few minutes’ walk away and are sign-posted; Rockford car park for the Park and Ride is IP12 2GJ

It’s not just the Saturday though! On Friday evening, the fun fair and food will be in full swing from 5:00 p.m. and the live music will start from 6:00 p.m. when the bar opens: Adelija, Jenna Oxbury, Silversin, Breeze Redwine & Ikarus – what a line up! You’re welcome to join us as we relax before the big day…
