Experience the best from the newest musicals with an exciting new production from a Beccles-based youth theatre group.

Rising Stars are delighted to present ‘Thoroughly Modern Musicals’ at 7.30pm nightly on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July in the Beccles Public Hall & Theatre.

Written specially for Rising Stars, this new cabaret-style show will showcase a multitude of songs, dances and colourful characters from musicals written or revived in the 21st Century, including Hamilton, Wicked, Dear Even Hansen and The Greatest Showman.

‘Thoroughly Modern Musicals’ is the latest fully-staged show in a long line of successful musical productions by Rising Stars, whose previous credits have included ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘Bugsy Malone’ and ‘Treasure Island’ earlier this year.
Although the cast are all of school age, they pride themselves on the high quality & professionalism of their performances, having been short listed for or winning ‘Best Youth Production’ at the regional NODA (National Operatic & Dramatic Association) awards several times since the group was formed in 2010.
