Treasure Island
It’s time to hoist up the Jolly Roger and set sail on the high seas for Rising Stars’ forthcoming production of ‘Treasure Island’. This action-packed musical will be staged nightly at 7.30pm in the Beccles Public Hall & Theatre from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th March.

Adapted from the adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, this salt-encrusted musical adventure stays faithful to the original story, narrating a tale of buccaneers and buried gold, wicked pirates and the Black Spot, treasure maps marked with an X, tropical islands and one-legged seamen with parrots. Fully-costumed and accompanied by a live band, this is a show not to be missed.

‘Treasure Island’ is the next fully-staged show in a long line of successful musical productions by Rising Stars, whose previous credits have included ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Bugsy Malone’ and ‘Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’. Although the cast are all under 18, they pride themselves on the high quality & professionalism of their performances.
